WPT&BC, ASSAM SCHOLARSHIP FOR OBC/MOBC STUDENTS 2020-21: SPECIAL FINANCIAL INCENTIVE TO OBC/MOBC MERITORIOUS STUDENTS

OBC/MOBC Scholarship for financial assistance to meritorious students 2020-21

The Director, WPT & BC, Assam has published a scholarship notification for financial assistance under the scheme of “Special Financial Incentive to OBC/MOBC Meritorious Students” for the year 2020-21. Interested students may apply in prescribed format. The details regarding eligibility and other terms and conditions are given below:

Name of the scheme: Special Financial Incentive to OBC/MOBC Meritorious Students

Session: 2020-21

Caste: OBC/MOBC community of Assam.

Eligibility: 

1. Students must have secured 80% or above in Matriculation and 75% or above in 10 + 2 examination.

2. This incentive shall be awarded only to the meritorious students who have secured the prescribed percentage of marks or grades in the academic year 2020-21. No claim would be considered who have qualified the examination prior to 01-01- 2020. 

Family income: There is no income criteria of Parents/ Guardians for availing this benefit. Any students fulfilling the above eligibility criteria can apply.

Selection mode: All the applications received by the Director, Welfare of Plains Tribes & Backward Classes, Assam will be placed before the Selection Committee which will scrutinize the same and approve the list of beneficiaries under the scheme. 

How to apply: Students fulfilling the eligibility criteria should apply in prescribed format and send the same along with all relevant documents to the office of the Directorate of Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes, Assam, Rukmini Nagar, Dispur Last Gate, Satrinivash Path, Ghy-6.
