Tihu College recruitment 2020 for Assistant Professor posts

Tihu College recruitment: Tihu college invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 3 posts of Assistant Professor of Botany, Zoology and Mathematics. 

Name of the post: Assistant Professor

1. Botany

No. of post-01, Roster point -10 (ST-H) 

2. Zoology

No. of post-01, Roster point-28 (OBC/MOBC)

3. Mathematics

No. of post-01, Roster point-21 (OBC/MOBC). (Those who are applied earlier for the post of Mathematics need not apply again for Sl. 3) 

Education qualification and the selection procedure: As per Govt. office memorandum. The candidates having Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree) regulation 2009 shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. The candidates must have 55% (or an equivalent grade point scale) at Master's Degree level in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to the Ph.D. holders, who have obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The candidate has to acquire qualifications as on the last date for submitting applications. Eligibility like M. Phil/Ph. D./ Seminar papers/Publications can be acquired and submitted the date of interview and not beyond. 

Age: The age of the candidate should not be more than 38 years as on 01-01-2020 with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates. 

Application fee: A Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- (Non refundable) only drawn in favour of Principal, Tihu College, Tihu, payable at UCO Bank, Tihu Branch.

How to apply: Interested candidates may apply in prescribed format along with all relevant documents to the Principal & Secretary Tihu College, Tihu.

Last date: 31-12-2020. 

Note: The candidates must have Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) and must know local language. In service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC obtained from the concerned authority.
