APDCL Mobile number update

Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) has recently published advertisements urging the electricity consumers to update their mobile number and other details on the official website of APDCL www.apdcl.org within 15th July, 2021.

What details are required to be uploaded in APDCL portal?

APDCL Customers should upload the following details in APDCL portal-

1. Name

2. Consumer No.

3. Mobile No.

4. Aadhar No.

5. Email ID (if available)

6. Occupation

What are the benefits of uploading the above data?

Mobile number registration would facilitate the consumer with their updated electricity bill, various bill payment options (including newer facility), notifications relating to shut-down and line restoration, its causes and duration, etc. 

The occupation details will enable the electricity department or APDCL to know the consumers' profiles in a better way. Various benefits in connection with certain targeted occupation profiles will be conveyed to the consumer, once the information is readily available with the APDCL.

What if I don't update my data in APDCL portal?

The consumers who fail to register their mobile number in APDCL portal, and not updating the other relevant details within 15th July, 2021 might be barred from electricity connection temporarily meaning electricity disconnection.

How to update my data in APDCL portal?

1. Visit APDCL official website www.apdcl.org

2. Click on "Update mobile number". A new page will open up.

3. Put the Consumer number in the Consumer no. option. The data available with APDCL with regards to consumer no. will be displayed.

4. Put your data such as mobile number, Aadhar number, occupation, email Id in the relevant places.

5. Click on Submit button.

6. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number.

7. Enter the OTP and click on verify.

8. Its done. Your work of data uploading is complete.
