Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Cinnamara, Jorhat, Assam invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Junior Research Fellow (temporary) under the BRNS DAE project “Development of Improved Planting Material in Tea [Cammelia Sinensis L. (O) Kuntze] using Gamma Irradi” at Department of Plant Physiology.

The details are given below:

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Total Post: One

Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding / Plant Physiology / Botany

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years

Tenure: The tenure of the Fellowship is three years

Fellowship: Rs.25,000/- per month consolidated

Important Note:

1. The appointments will be purely on contractual basis and hence the Institute will not provide any employment after completion of the project. 
2. Only the candidates recommended by the Screening Committee will be called for interview.
3. The decision of the Institute on short-listing will be final and the Institute will not entertain any correspondence in this respect. 
4. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending in the interview.
