Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Apprenticeship Recruitment: IOCL invited applications from the candidates meeting the required qualification & other parameters for engagement as Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended from time to time) at its operating locations in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Tripura & West Bengal.in the Trade/Discipline mentioned below

Qualification/Eligibility Criteria : 

1. For Technician Apprentice-Mechanical: 3(Three)Years full time regular diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
2. For Technician Apprentice-Electrical: 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
3. For Technician Apprentice-Instrumentation: 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
4. For Technician Apprentice-Civil: 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
5. For Technician Apprentice-Electrical & Electronics: 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions. 
6. For Technician Apprentice- Electronics: 3(Three) Years full time regular diploma in Electronics Engineering from recognized University/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

**(The applicant for the position of Technician Apprentices should NOT have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination as on 31.10.2018.)

Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.10.2018( Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC). Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation upto 10 years for General category, upto 15 years for SC/ST & upto 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates if considered against reserved positions.

How to apply: 

1. The candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria may apply online from 12-10-2018 through the link which will be provided in our corporate website www.iocl.com (Careers-> Apprenticeships> Engagement of Apprentices(Technical & Non-Technical) in Eastern Region (Marketing Division)).
2. Only on-line mode of applications will be accepted. Paper based applications will not be accepted.
3. After filling up the online application, the scanned copy of the latest colour photograph, scanned copy of the documents namely proof of date of birth( Xth Std certificate/marksheet), prescribed educational qualification certificate, caste certificate(if applicable) and signature to be uploaded without fail. In the absence of any single document, the application shall be summarily rejected. Eligible candidates will be intimated by email/SMS for downloading admit card for written test.
4. Those applications which are incomplete/not uploaded with self-attested copies of certificates / not in line with the terms & condition will be liable for rejection.
