The Assam Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2022 is a new notification issued in the month of December, 2021 for which selection process and appointment shall be made in the year of 2022. ASSAM POLICE SI RECRUITMENT 2021: 306 POSTS

Name of the post: Sub-Inspector of Police (Unarmed Branch)

Pay scale: Rs. 14000- 60500 + Rs. 8700/- GP

Total post: 306 (UR-126, OBC/MOBC-83, SC-21, STH-15, STP-31, EWS-30)

Reservation: 

1. 30% (thirty percent) of the vacancies in each category are reserved for women.

2. Ten percent (10%) reservation for persons belonging to EWS who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs.

Eligibility criteria: 

1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.

2. Employment exchange registration: Candidates must register his/her name with a local Employment Exchange of Assam.

3. Local language proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

4. Age: Candidate should not be more than 26 years and less than 20 years of age as on 01-07-2021. (Candidate must be born on or before 01-07-2001 and on or after 01-07-1995). 

Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for: 

(i) 5 years for SC, ST (P) and ST(H). 

(ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC.

Educational qualification: Any graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.

iv. Certificate of Caste from Competent Authority. 

v. Permanent Residential Certificate. 

vi. Certificate of additional qualification such as Degree / Diploma Certificate from Govt. recognized / accredited institute (pass certificate as well as marksheet) 

vii. Certificate of Sports / Games etc. (for which the candidate would be claiming weightage marks) viii. Basic & Advanced Home Guard training and experienced certificate issued by Competent Authority, if any. 

ix. Certificate of NCC from Competent Authority, if any. 

x. Transgender Certificate issued by Competent Authority, if any 

xi. EWS certificate, if any from Competent Authority
