Name of the post: Technician (Maintenance)- Plumber

Educational qualification: HSLC Pass from a recognized board with ITI certificate in relevant trade or certificate Course from Govt. recognized Institute.

Age limit: 18 to 30 years as on 31-12-2021. Age relaxation as per norms.

Selection process: Objective type written test (100 MCQ) of 10th Standard level. After qualifying on the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to undergo in the Trade Test.

Syllabus of written test: General English (20), Mental Ability and Reasoning (20), General English (20), Artithmatic (20) and Basic Science (20)

Venue of written test: RFRI, Jorhat, Forest Research Centre for Bamboo and  Rattan, Aizawl and Forest Research Centre for Livelihood Extension, Agartala.

Application fee: Rs. 300/- to be deposited in the Savings Bank Account No. 393102010003153 (IFSC: UBIN0539317) with Union Bank of India, Jorhat Branch in favour of Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat and proof of payment/deposit is to be attached with the application form.

How to apply: Interested and eligible candidates who are willing to serve anywhere in India may send the application in prescribed format to the Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, P. Box No. 126, Jorhat-785001, Assam along with the attested copies of the following.

a) Certificate of proof of age

b) Certificates/marksheets of educational qualification

c) Certificate in support of claim for age relaxation/fee concession as applicable.

The envelope containing the application should be marked as "Application for the post of ________ (with post code)".

Last date: 31-12-2021. For candidate of Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands, the last date of receipt of application is 15-01-2022.
