NTA Translator recruitment 2021

National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a vacancy circular inviting applications from intending and eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) in the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The eligibility criteria and other details are given below

NTA JUNIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR RECRUITMENT 2021

Name of the post: Junior Hindi Translator

Total post: 2 (UR) (may increase or decrease)

Pay scale: PB-2 Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-)

Educational qualification and experience: (I) Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level;

OR

Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level;

OR

Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level;

AND

(II) Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-a-versa or three years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India undertaking

Desirable educational qualification: 

(i) Knowledge at the level of Matriculation of a recognized Board of equivalent of one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution

OR

(ii) Degree or Diploma in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognized University.

Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on 09-12-2021

1. General/ OBC (NCL): Rs. 500/-

2. EWS: Rs. 300/-

3. SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates: Nil
