DIRECTORATE OF AGRICULTURE, ASSAM RECRUITMENT 2021: 103 PROGRAMME OFFICER/ACCOUNTS OFFICER/MEDIA EXPERT VACANCY

Assam Agriculture Department recruitment for 103 Officer posts

The Directorate of Agriculture, Assam has released a vacancy notification for recruitment of 103 nos. of Programme Officer, Accounts Officer and Media Expert posts. The recruitment will be held through walk in interview on 8, 15 and 22 November, 2021.

1. Programme Officer

Total posts: 35

Pay (CTP per year): Rs. 6.00 lakh

Educational Qualification & Working Experience:  M.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognised institute having minimum 3(three) years of relevant experience. 

Computer Skills: Expertise in using Internet based applications, working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, related applications and software & hardware computer systems. 

Language: Fluency in English and Assamese is essential. 

Desirable Skills: Experience of working in complex, multi stakeholder, fast moving environment and ability to work under pressure, strict deadlines and multitasking. Good social, analytical and planning skills; the candidate must show initiative, synthesis, organization and personal dynamism, be selfmotivated and should possess ability to work independently as well as in teams. 

Age: Age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years and less than 21 years of age as on 1st January,2021.

2. Accounts Officer

Total posts: 33

Pay (CTP per year): Rs. 4.20 lakh

Educational Qualification & Working Experience:  Masters in Commerce from recognised institute having minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience. 

Computer Skills: Expertise in using Internet based applications, working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, related applications and software & hardware of computer systems. Candidates may be put through separate computer test to assess their proficiency in Tally Accounting System. 

Language: Fluency in English and Assamese is essential. 

Desirable Skills: Experience of working in complex, multi stakeholder, fast moving environment and ability to work under pressure, strict deadlines and multitasking. Good social, analytical and planning skills; the candidate must show initiative, synthesis, organization and personal dynamism, be self-motivated and should possess ability to work independently as well as in teams. 

Age: Age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years and less than 21 years of age as on 1st January,2021. 

3. Media Expert

Total posts: 35

Pay (CTP per year): Rs. 2.88 lakh

Educational Qualification & Working Experience: Post Graduate in Mass Communication from a recognised institute with candidates having minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience. 

Computer Skills: The Media Expert must have expertise in using Internet based applications, working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, related applications and software & hardware computer systems. 

Language: Fluency in English and Assamese is essential. 

Desirable Skills: Experience of working in complex, multi stakeholder, fast moving environment and ability to work under pressure, strict deadlines and multitasking. Good social, analytical and planning skills; the candidate must show initiative, synthesis, organization and personal dynamism, be self-motivated and should possess ability to work independently as well as in teams. 

Age: Age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years and less than 21 years of age as on 1st January’2021.

Mode of recruitment

The selection of candidates will be selected through walk in interview on 8, 15 and 22 November, 2021 for Programme Officer, Accounts Officer and Media Expert position respectively.

Time and venue of interview

The interview will be held from 10.30 am to 4 pm in the Agriculture Campus

Interested Candidates shall be mandatorily required to bring an application as per the standard format along with all the original certificates/ documents relating to qualification, experience, age, identity proof, latest salary certificate, two passport size coloured photographs etc. and also a set of self-attested copies of the same.
