APSC Research Assistant recruitment 2021: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a recruitment notification for 45 nos. of Research Assistant in Planning Services under Transformation & Development Department.

Interested candidates who are graduates in Arts/ Science/ Commerce Stream can apply online. Before applying, the candidates are requested to go through the eligibility criteria.

Name of the post: Research Assistant in Planning Services

Total post: 45 (UR-18, OBC/MOBC-8, SC-6, STP-6, STH-2, EWS-5)

Name of the department: Transformation and Development Department

Pay scale: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- + GP Rs. 9,400/-

Exam conductor: APSC

Eligibility criteria:

Residentship: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. The Candidate’s domicile proof one of the following documents needs to be upload viz. PRC/Voters ID card/Employment Exchange Registration. (Upload self-attested valid supporting documents.) 

Education Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from any recognized University with either Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography or Commerce as one of the subjects. Preference shall be given to Honours Graduates. (Upload self-attested valid supporting documents.) 

Age: 21 to 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST/SC candidates, 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 10 years for PWBD candidates.

1. Gen/EWS: Rs. 285.40

2. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: Rs. 185.40

3. BPL/PWBD: Rs. 35.40
