Bodoland University has published the list of shortlisted candidates as well as ineligible candidates for appearing in the entrance test and interview for the post of Laboratory Assistant at Commercial High Yielding Tissue Culture Centre (CHYTCC) at Bodoland University for 1 year as per the advertisement published before.

Work profile of the laboratory assistant for CHYTCC:

1. Collection of numerous explants on regular basis for tissue culture from field conditions like a. Banana b. Pineapple c. Strawberry etc. 

2. Cleansing of laboratory wares, glasswares etc. 

3. Preparation of reagents for the experiment. 

4. Preparation of primary and secondary hardening of tissue culture materials. 

5. Desirable of solvent knowledge about laboratory equipment and protocols 

6. Washing of laboratory uniform, apron and PPE kit. 

7. Lab. maintenance and cleaning. 

8. Other work as instructed by the laboratory in charge.

Name of the examination: Entrance test and interview

Date of entrance test and interview: 13-09-2021 from 10AM to 11.00 AM and the interview shall be conducted from 11.30 AM onwards

Venue of Entrance test cum interview: Department of Biotechnology, Bodoland University

Entrance test type: Objective type (MCQ)

Marking pattern: The MCQ entrance shall be for 70 marks (35 questions) of 2 marks each for the respective correct answer. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer attempted. The personal interview will be for 30 marks

Selection process: The selection shall be based on combine marks from entrance examinations (70) as well as from personal interview (30)

Important note:

1. The shortlisted candidates are informed to bring Photo Identity Card like Adhar card, Pan Card, Driving Licence, Voter’s ID Card etc for entrance and interview. 

2. The candidates are also informed to bring the HSSLC (minimum qualification for the post), experience certificate (if any), age proof certificate (HSLC/Birth Certificate) in original for verifications. 

3. Candidates are informed to collect their admit card from Technology Incubation Centre on Mushroom, BU from 9AM onwards on 13-9-21
