DU B.ed. CET 2021: Dibrugarh University has officially published the notification of Dibrugarh University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (b.Ed. CET) 2021 for admission to the B.Ed. Course under Dibrugarh University for the Session 2021-22. As per the notification, the Dibrugarh University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed. CET) 2021 is going to be held on 19-09-2021.

Interested and eligible candidates as per the eligibility criteria given below may apply online from 23-08-2021 till 05-09-2021 through the official admission portal of DU B.Ed. CET 2021.

Name of the Course: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

Duration of the course: 2 years (Four semesters)

Total marks of Entrance test: 70 marks

Exam duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)

ABOUT THE DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY B.ED. CET 2021

Dibrugarh University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test 2021 is a Common Entrance Test conducted by Dibrugarh University to provisionally select candidates for admission into the B.Ed. Programme offered by the affiliated colleges and the Department of Education of Dibrugarh University.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY B.ED. COURSE

1. At least 50% marks (in Aggregate) either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities; 

OR 

Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology of Dibrugarh University, or any other University recognized by Dibrugarh University with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto

** A candidate securing 50% marks or more in the Honours / Major subject but less than 50 % in aggregate in all the courses/papers of the Bachelor’s degree will not be eligible for admission to B.Ed. programme, as the requirement is 50% marks in the aggregate. 

(b) Candidate must clear the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test conducted by the University for the academic session 2021-22.

SEAT RESERVATION POLICY OF DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY FOR B.ED. ADMISSION

• SC - 7%
• ST (P) - 10% 
• ST (H) - 5%
• OBC/MOBC - 15%
• Differently abled - 3% (candidates who are very negligibly disabled by visual deficiency and the like, shall not be eligible for consideration under this reserved category)
• EWS-10% of the total seats over and above the intake capacity

RELAXATION OF MARKS FOR ADMISSION IN DU B.ED. COURSE

Relaxation of marks upto 5% in the qualifying examinations may be granted to the following candidates: 

(a) Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD categories, 

 (b) Teacher candidates with minimum of five years teaching experience in a school recognized up to 10th standard by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam. 

(c) A candidate can avail the benefit of relaxation of marks only in any one of the above categories.

HOW TO APPLY FOR DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY B.ED. CET 2021

Eligible candidates who wish to apply for Dibrugarh University B.ED. CET 2021 may fill up online application form by following the given steps.

1. Visit https://cetcell.net/Dirbru_Uni_CET/?r

2. Click on Click here for Application form link

3. Click on next.

4. During filling-up the Application Form, the Candidate need to create a Password according to their choice for subsequent log-in to pay Application Fee and Final Submission.

5. After completion of the filling-up the Form and uploading of the Photograph and Signature, the Candidate needs to click the button- ‘Submit and Proceed for Payment of the Application Fee’ of Rs.700/- only. 

6. In the next page, the candidate needs to log-in by entering the Mobile No. and Password for Fee Payment. 

7. On Payment of the Fees, ‘Your Final Submission is done. 

8. Take a print out of your Application Form and Admit Card

9. The Candidate has to bring the printout of the Admit Card to the Examination Hall on the Date of the Test for verification.
