Director of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Assam has released an advertisement regarding the engagement of  3 posts of Translators in Bodo, Bengali and Hindi on a purely contractual basis. Interested candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned eligibility criteria may apply online.

DIPR ASSAM TRANSLATOR RECRUITMENT 2021

Name of the post: Translator cum Content Writer (Bodo/ Bengali/ Hindi)

Total post: 3 (Bodo-1, Bengali-1, Hindi-1)

Qualification of Bodo/Bengali/ Hindi translator: 

1. Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with Bodo/ Hindi/ Bengali as MIL subject.

2. Proficiency in DTP in Bodo/ Bengali/ Hindi as well as in English and must have knowledge on language-specific DTP software.

3. Candidates having the below-mentioned additional qualification will be given preference.

a) Certificate/Diploma in Translation course in Bodo/ Bengali/ Hindi from any Govt. recognized institution or organization.

b) Previous experience of Translation work

c) Proofreading skills along with the ability to identify grammatical, spelling, punctuation errors.

Job profile of Bodo/Bengali/Hindi Translator

1. For Bodo Translator cum content writer: Translation of any matter from Assamese, English and Hindi into Bodo and vice versa besides proficiency in writing original content in Bodo.

2. For Bengali Translator cum content Writer: Translation of any matter from Assamese, English and Hindi into Bengali and vice versa besides proficiency in writing original content in Bengali.

3. For Hindi Translator cum content Writer: Translation of any matter from Assamese and English into Hindi and vice versa besides proficiency in writing original content in Hindi.

Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- pm (fixed)

Age limit: 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-21. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/STP/STH and 3 years for OBC/MOBC.

Selection Process: Interview and practical test in due course

Documents required: 

1. Educational qualification certificate

2. Experience certificate, if any.

3. Age proof certificate
