HOW TO CHECK AADHAR AND PAN LINKING STATUS: KNOW THE STEPS

PAN and Aadhar link status

By now you might have already applied for linking your Aadhar number with your Permanent Account Number (PAN) as you were aware that Government has made the Aadhar and PAN linking mandatory.

The non-linking of PAN and Aadhar might lead not only to your PAN becoming inoperative but it might cause you a lot of trouble in other financial-related matters.

The last date for linking Aadhar and PAN is 30-09-2021.

To check whether your Aadhar and PAN is linked or not do the following steps:

1. Visit income tax filing website https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal

2. Click on "Link Aadhar Status" (Know about your Aadhar-PAN link status).

3. Now put your PAN and Aadhar number in relevant boxes.

4. Click on View Link Aadhar status.

5. Now it will show you your Aadhar and PAN linking status.

If your Aadhar and PAN linking status show as not linked or you have not linked it yet, you can link your Aadhar and PAN by clicking here.
