The Cotton University has recently published a recruitment notification inviting applications from eligible and interested candidates via email for the two (02) temporary positions of Junior Research
Fellow (JRF) in the MeitY sponsored project entitled “Enhancing Security using Lightweight Cryptography in
IoT with OneM2M as the Service Platform and 3GPP-5G as the Underlying Communication Network” under
the Principal Investigator: Dr. Hiten Choudhury, Department of Computer Science & IT, Cotton University, Guwahati, Assam.

Essential Qualifications: M.C.A. / M. Tech. (Computer Science / Information Technology) with minimum
60% marks and NET qualification.
Desirable qualification: Knowledge of programming in Python, Solidity (Blockchain), Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NS2/3.
Fellowship: ₹ 31,000 only plus HRA as admissible per month.
Duration: Appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year which may be extended till completion of
the project.

How to apply: Interested candidates may send a copy of the CV and scanned copies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th
standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificate of
NET, any other testimonials, etc., to Dr. Hiten Choudhury, Principal Investigator via email
(hiten.choudhury@cottonuniversity.ac.in) on or before 22-05-2021.
Important points:
1. The interview will be conducted through Google Meet. Meeting/Joining link and time for the interview
will be communicated through email to the shortlisted candidates on the 24-05-2021.
2. On the day of the interview (26-05-2021), candidates will be receiving a call/message before being
admitted.
3. For the smooth conduct of the interview, the candidates are requested to arrange the following at their end:
a) A good and stable Internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for Google Meet.
b) A properly illuminated room for clear visibility. The location should not be noisy.
c) A good quality microphone/ headset with mic so that there is voice clarity.
d) A reasonably good web camera for the visuals.
