Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar, a deemed to be University has published recruitment advertisements for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a DBT sponsored research project entitled “Use of non-toxic nano-formulations for prolonging shelf life and reduction of post-harvest loss of mandarin orange (Citrus reticulata) of North East India” to be carried out in the Department of Food Engineering & Technology, Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, Kokrajhar and Junior Project Technician for the project “Utilization of fly ash in geotechnical engineering applications” under the Scheme-Project Related Grant (PRG), DST, Govt. of India through ASTEC which will be selected through walk in interviews. The details are given below:

CIT KOKRAJHAR JRF AND JUNIOR PROJECT TECHNICIAN RECRUITMENT 2021

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility Criteria: 1st class M.Sc. in Food Sciences and Technology / Chemistry or 1st class M.Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology/ Food Technology / Biochemical Engineering

Monthly Emoluments (Consolidated): 

A. ₹ 31,000/- + HRA @ 8% for first two years and ₹ 35,000/- + HRA @ 8% for third year (Consolidated) for NET/GATE Qualified Candidates 

B. ₹ 25,000/- + HRA @ 8% for Non-NET /GATE candidate

Project duration: 3 years

Date of interview: 17-05-2021 at 11 am through virtual mode

2. Junior Project Technician

Eligibility Criteria: Diploma in engineering or Technology/ITI certificate with 1-2 years of experience in road construction project. Candidates who are well versed with MS Office will be preferred.

Total post: 1

Salary: ₹ 10,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Project duration: 3 months (May be extendable based on the performance during the tenure of the appointment)
