WPT & BC Assam Financial Assistance to STP Meritorious students 2020-21

Applications are invited from ST (P) meritorious students for "Financial Assistance" under the scheme of “Special Financial Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students” for the year 2020-21. The details are given below:

Name of the scheme: Special Financial Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students 2020-21

Implementing agency: Directorate of Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes, Assam

Eligibility criteria: 

• Caste: Students must belong to ST community of Assam.
• Percentage: 80% or above in Matriculation and 75% or above in 10 + 2 examination. 
• Year: This incentive shall be awarded only to the meritorious students who have secured the prescribed percentage of marks or grades in the academic year 2020-21. No claim would be considered who have qualified the examination prior to 01-01-2020. 
• Income limit: No income limit.

How to apply: Interested and eligible students should apply in proper format and send the same along with all the relevant documents to the office of the Directorate of Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes, Assam, Rukmini Nagar, Dispur Last Gate, Satrinivash Path, Ghy-6.
