The State Level Police Recruitment Board, SLPRB Assam has published an employment notification for 1081 posts of the Forest Department, Assam. In this regard online applications are invited from eligible candidates through SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in). 

1. Name of the Post: Forester-I 

Total Posts:144

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline

 Salary: Rs. 14000-60500 + GP Rs.6400

2. Name of the Post: Forest Guard 

Total Posts: 812

Qualification: HS Passed

Salary: Rs.14000-60500 + GP Rs.5600

3. Name of the Post: Stenographer Grade-III 

Total Posts: 11

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and National Trade Certificate in Stenography from ITI in Assam or any other institute recognized by the Govt. of Assam/Govt. of India with 80 WPM in English Stenography.

Salary: Rs.14000-60500 + GP Rs.8700

4. Name of the Post: Surveyor z 

Total Post: 35

Qualification: HSLC Passed

Salary: Rs.14000-60500 + GP Rs.5200

5. Name of the Post: Mahut 

Total Post: 28

Qualification: Class VIII or equivalent and must have a minimum 3 (three) years experience in elephant upkeeping.

Salary: Rs.14000-60500 + GP Rs.5000

6. Name of the Post: Carpenter

Total Post: 1 

Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed and must have trade certificate from recognized Institution

Salary: Rs.14000-60500 + GP Rs.5000

7. Name of the Post: Driver 

Total Post: 50

Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed and must have valid four wheeler driving license issued by the any Competent Authority of Assam.

Salary: Rs.14000-60500 + GP Rs.5200
