 North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE) B.Ed. Admission Test 2019

Online applications  are invited for entrance test for admission to regular full time 2 years B. Ed course at North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), NCERT, Umiam from eligible candidates belonging to eight North East States viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.

Total intake of candidates: 50

There is a state quota for each of the states and reservation is done as per the Government of India norms

Eligibility Criteria of States: 

• Select the appropriate state at against which you are seeking admission. As a proof of eligibility of State/ UT for admission the candidate has to produce any one of the following documents:
• a) Evidence of having passed the qualifying examination from the State/UT as given in the advertisement. 
• b) In case of legal guardian/parents is an employee of state central govt./Govt. of India undertaking/Autonomous bodies the latest certificate of place of posting in the State/UT. 
• c) A domicile certificate from the competent authority. 
• Candidates can fill any one of the choices (a), (b) or (c) 

Eligibility for B. Ed: Candidate with at least 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in Science/ Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with Science or Mathematics or in Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in Social Sciences/Humanities are eligible for admission to the programme (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates).

• Last Date for submission of qualifying examination marks for appearing applicants of B.Ed., B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated (3-year) and M. Ed.: 08-07-2019
• CEE-2019 Result Declaration for B.Sc. B.Bd. (4-year), B.A. B.Ed. (4-year) and M.Sc. Ed (5-year): 10-07-2019
• CEE-2019 Result declaration for B.Ed., B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated (3-year) and M. Ed programmes: 20-07-2019
