The Assam State Biodiversity Board invites applications from interested post-graduate students in Life Sciences (preferably fresh pass out) for short term engagement under 9th batch of 'Biodiversity Research Associate Programme (BRAP) Fellowship' for the following works:

1. For assisting selected Biodiversity Management Committees (BMC) of Assam in preparation of their People's Biodiversity Registers (PBR)

a. Total Vacancy: 20 Fellows

b. Desirable qualification: M.Sc in Life Sciences, preferably Botany and Zoology specialization

c. Duration of engagement: 3 months (Anytime from l5th March 19 to l5th September 19)

d. Fellowship: Stipend of Rs 8000 per month + Rs 21,000/- contingency for 3 months towards field visits, documentations, etc)

2. For updating Digital People's Biodiversity Registers of Assam 

a. Total Vacancy: 4 Fellows

b. Desirable qualification: M.Sc in Botany (preferably with Taxonomy specialization)

c. Duration of engagement: 3 months (tentatively from 15th March 19 to 14th June 19)

d. Fellowship: Rs 15000 per month (Fixed)
