North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), Umiam an autonomous body functioning under the Department of Space and North Eastern Council (NEC) invites applications from the eligible candidates for the following position.

Other Important Details:

Desirable Qualification and Experience: M.Tech/P.G Diploma (PGD) in Remote Sensing and GIS or equivalent*. Preference will be given to candidates working in the area of space technology applications with microwave/ hyper-spectral remote sensing.

*Equivalent degrees:

• M.Tech/PGD in Geoinformatics 
• M.Tech/PGD in Spatial Information Science 
• M.Tech/PGD in Geomatics

Note: M.Sc degree should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent with 1st Class B.Sc as pre-qualification.

Application fees: Candidates should pay the application fees in the form of a Demand Draft to be issued in favour of “DIRECTOR, NORTH EASTERN SPACE APPLICATIONS CENTRE” payable at State Bank of India, Umiam Branch [Branch Code No.2010].

How to Apply: 

1. Applications will be received on-line only through the portal http://www.nesac.gov.in/
2. After registration take two print outs of the application summary. One print-out of the filled-in online application form along with  Rs.250/- Demand Draft should be sent to Sr. Administrative Officer, North Eastern Space Applications Centre, Govt. of India, Dept. of Space, Umiam-793103, Meghalaya on or before 11-12-2018 through Indian Speed Post only, failing which your candidature will be cancelled and another print out is to be brought along with passport size photograph and documents supporting the data furnished in application at the time of Interview. Please note that site will not be open for printing after 15:00 hours of 25-11-2018. Kindly write clearly your name on the back side of Demand Draft.
