Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Tezpur invites applications from deserving and eligible candidates for a Walk-In-Interview for the appointment of Contractual Teachers for the session 2018-19.

Bodoland Job News (BJN) advises the intending candidates to ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions or criteria before applying for any of the post.

The details of the post are given below:

1. Name of the Post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

• Subjects: For Political Science and Geography

• Educational Qualification:                                                                                                            
• (i) Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject (Political Science and Geography)               
• (ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University                                                             
• (iii) Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English medium                                                     
• (iv) Candidates having Special B.Ed. are not eligible for the post of PGT                                           
• (v) Candidates having knowledge of Computer Applications are desirable

Special Provision:

• (i) Relaxation of B.Ed. qualification - In the absence of suitable candidates with B.Ed. Degrees in Hard/ Very Hard station and in remote areas of North-East and J&K, candidates with following qualification may be considered in different categories without B.Ed. qualification – (a) Post graduate with 60% marks in Science subjects and 55% in Humanities subjects may be considered for the posts of PGTs, if suitable candidates with B.Ed. are not available.                                                                                                                                                   
• (ii) Relaxation in CTET – In the absence of CTET qualified candidate, candidate without CTET qualification may be considered if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rules.

Eligibility of Applicants: All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post applied for and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as on  04.07.2018.

Age Limit: Minimum and maximum age limit shall be 18 and 65 years respectively as on date of application.

How to apply: Application should be submitted in the prescribed Application Form. Fill it properly and duly filled application form must be brought and submit the same on the date of Interview i.e. 10th July 2018.

Mode of Selection: The mode of selection may include a written test, proficiency and/or performance test, practical classroom observation and personal interview.
