Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) invites applications from eligible in-house candidates, who are domicile of Assam and serving the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) for at least five years as on 01.08.2018 under various projects for filling up the vacant posts of Junior Scientific Officer (JSO) in the Office of the Director, ASTEC.

The details of the post are given below:

1. Name of the post: Junior Scientific Officer (JSO)

2. Total vacancy: 6

3. Educational Qualification: Masters degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Zoology, Botany, Geomatics, Remote Sensing & GIS, Computer Applications, Geography, Geology OR Bachelor degree in basic and applied professional courses like B.E./ B.Tech, etc.

4. Salary: (PB-4) Rs. 30,000.00 - Rs. 1,10,000.00 and GP of Rs. 12,700.00/- PM

5. Age Limit: Maximum 43 years as on 01-08-2018

6.
