Commissionerate of Food Safety, Dispur, Assam has published a vacancy notification for recruitment to the posts of Help Desk Assistant and Assistant Chemist. The posts will be filled up purely on contractual basis initially for 5 months and 3 months for Help Desk Assistant and Assistant Chemist respectively.

Interested and eligible candidates may attend the walk in interview at the date, time and venue mentioned below.

1. Help Desk Assistant

Total post: 2

Educational qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with 1 year Diploma/ certificate of Computer Application having proficiency in the use of MS Office, email, internet, etc.

Age limit: Upto 38 years

Pay: ₹25,000/- pm

2. Assistant Chemist

Total post: 10

Educational qualification: B.Sc. with major/honours in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Diary Chemistry or Food Technology. The candidates having qualification of M.Sc. in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Diary Chemistry or Food Technology will be preferred. 2 posts will be reserved for incumbents having B.Sc. in Microbiology with preference having M.Sc. in Microbiology.

Age limit: Upto 38 years

Pay: ₹30,000/- pm

Date, time and venue of interview:

1. Help Desk Assistant- On 29-11-2021 from 10 am onwards at Commissionerate of Food Safety, Dispur, Guwahati-6.

2. Assistant Chemist- On 30-11-2021 from 10 am onwards at State Public Health Laboratory, Assam, Guwahati-21

How to attend interview Intending candidates may report to the selection committee on the date, time and venue mentioned above with Biodata, relevant original documents, 2 nos . of recent passport size photographs and a set of self attested photocopies of certificate form HSLC onwards and other testimonials.
