Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday was sworn in as 15th Chief Minster of Assam along with 13 other minsters.

The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi to all the ministers including Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.

All the ministers including the Chief Minster took oath in Assamese except Urkhao Gwra Brahma who took oath in Bodo, Parimal Suklabaidya in Bengali and Ashok Singhal in English.
