INDUSTRIES & COMMERCE DEPARTMENT, BTC FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO UNEMPLOYED YOUTHS OF BTR/ INTEREST SUBSIDY ON LOAN/ MARGIN MONEY ASSISTANCE/ SUPPLY OF TOOLS & OTHER SCHEMES 2020-21

Industries and Commerce Department, BTC, Kokrajhar financial assistance to unemployed youths

The Additional Director, Industries and Commerce Department, BTC has published a notification regarding providing of financial assistance, supply of tools and machineries, margin money assistance, capital investment subsidy, interest subsidy on  term loan, CEM's Tholuwa Udyog Unnayan Achani and domicile entrepreneurs support scheme for unemployed youths, artisans and entrepreneurs from Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) who who are interested to set up and run Micro Enterprises or having existing such enterprises. Trained and skilled persons are encouraged to avail the facilities to increase income and also to generate employment under the programmes.

The name of the schemes are given below: 

1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME (FAS): 

Trades: Rice/ Chira Milling, Puffed Rice Manufacturing, Bakery, Milk Processing, Noodles Making, Mushroom Processing, Fruits & Vegetable Processing, Bee Keeping & Processing, Superi processing, Green Tea Manufacturing & Packaging, paper & betel nut leaf cup/plate making, Chitranala Processing, Vermicompost, Cane & Bamboo Works, Decorative Candle making ,Incense Stick Manufacturing, Bell & Brass metal Smithy, Pottery Making, Fashion Designing, Electrical & Electronics service, Gents/Ladies Parlour, Agro-Farm Equipment Servicing, Automobile Servicing, Tyre Repairing & Resoling, Traditional weaving / Endi Spinning, Hand Sanitize( Manufacturing)

2.  SUPPLY OF IMPROVED TOOLS & MACHINERIES (SITM): 

Trades: Rubber Roller, Decorative Candle making, Incense Stick Manufacturing, Spice Grinding, Mini Mustard oil Expeller, Noodles/ Sewai/ French fry Making, Tomato Sauce making, Paper cup/plate making, Steel Fabrication, Fashion Designing, DTP/ Xerox, Electrician, Automobile Servicing, Masonry/ tiles works, Carpentry, Bee Keeping & Honey Processing.

 

3. MARGIN MONEY ASSISTANCE SCHEME (MMS): New & existing handicraft and other industrial units which had already availed Bank loan and as covered Under BIP, 19.

4. CAPITAL INVESTMENT SUBSIDY (CIS): Micro Enterprises already gone into commercial production and as covered under BIP, 19.

5. INTEREST SUBSIDY ON TERM LOAN (ISTL): Bank financed Enterprises already gone into commercial production and as covered under BIP, 19.

6. CEM's THOLUWA UDYOG UNNAYAN ACHANI (CTUUA): SHGs of artisans relating to handicraft & traditional industries already gone into commercial production and as covered under BIP'19.

7. DOMICILE ENTREPRENEURS SUPPORT SCHEME (DESS): For setting up Micro enterprises, conducting EDP/ seminars etc., developing industrial infrastructure as covered under BIP'19.

How to apply : Applications can be collected from the offices mentioned below and the duly filled up applications will also be received in the same offices.

1. O/o the General Manager, District Industries & Commerce Centre, Kokrajhar/ Chirang/ Baksa/ Udalguri.

2. O/o the Assistant Director of Industries & Commerce, Parbatjhora/ Gossaigaon/ Bijni/ Tamulpur/ Salbari/ Bhergaon.

Last date: 

• For FAS, SITM, MMS is 11-01-2021 upto 4.00 PM
• For CIS, ISTL, CTUUA, DESS will be submitted to concerned GM, DICCs as per guidelines of Bodoland Industrial Policy, 2019
