Cotton University MA/MSC/MCA Admission 2020-21

Cotton University has published the official notification for admission into various PG programmes like MA/MSc/MCA/MLISc/LLM for the session 2020-21 and thus invites the interested students  having requisite qualification to apply online for their desired courses at Cotton University.

The details are given below:

1. Master of Arts (MA) - 654 seats (Non self financing)

2. Master of Science (MSc) - 278 seats (Non self financing)

3. Master of Computer Application (MCA) - 40 seats (Non self financing)

4. MA in Mass Communication & Journalism - 40 (Self financing)

5. Master of Library & Information Science (MLISc) - 12 seats  (Self financing)

6. Master of Law (LLM) - 20 seats  (Self financing)

7. PG Diploma in Gender Studies - 26 seats  (Self financing)

The fees of self-financing programmes chargeable per semester will be within the range of Rs. 15,000.00 to 25,000.00. Fee structure details shall be published in a separate notification before admission. MLISc, LLM and PG Diploma in Gender Studies are being introduced as afternoon shift programmes.

Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree with Honours/ Major from a recognised university. Candidates who have appeared/ appearing in UG Final Semester Examination 2020 are eligible to apply. They should upload the 5th Semester mark sheet if asked to upload the final mark sheet by the online application software. 

Reservation: The rules of the Government of Assam shall be applicable. 

Mode of Application: ONLINE ONLY through the website admissions.cottonuniversity.ac.in

Entrance Examination (CPGEE) Fee: Rs. 800/- payable only through the web portal for online application.

Gap in study: Maximum study gap allowed is 3 (three) years, with a self-declaration.

• Online application starts: 03-10-2020
• Last Date of Registration and Payment of Fees: 08-10-2020 till 7:00 PM
• Last date of Submission of completed online Application form: 09-10-2020 till 7.00 PM
