UPDATE ON 02-01-2021: LIST OF SELECTED CANDIDATES DECLARED FOR ADMISSION IN SERICULTUTAL TRAINING INSTITUTE FOR 2020-21

The Director of Sericulture, Assam has invited applications for admission to the One Year Certificate Course Training in the Sericultural Training Institute, Assam, Titabar for the Session 2020-21 from the intending candidates who fulfill the following eligibility criteria. Candidates should make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying. 

Name of the course: One Year Certificate Course Training

Name of the Institute: Sericultural Training Institute, Assam, Titabar 

Admission session: 2020-21

Eligibility: Passed HS (Science) Examination or its equivalent with Biology as one of the subject from any recognized Board, Council or University and a permanent resident of Assam. The candidates must obtain at least 45% marks in the Higher Secondary (Science) or its equivalent Examination with relaxation 5% marks for SC and ST candidates. 

Age limit: 18 to 25 years of age as on 01-01-2020. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved categories as per Govt. norms.

Total seat: 30 (General-12, EWS-3, SC-2 ST(P)-3, ST(H)-1 OBC/MOBC-8 PWD-1)

Stipend: Selected candidates are entitled for the monthly stipend of Rs. 125/- per month on being admitted subject to regular attendance, good conduct and satisfactory performance. 

Documents to be submitted along with the application: Copies of testimonials to be attached with application form (declared by himself/ herself as certified to be true copy of the original):

i. Pass Certificate HS (Science) or its equivalent Examination. 

ii. Mark sheet of HSLC and HS (Science) or its equivalent Examination. 

iii. Birth certificate / age proof certificate. 

iv. Permanent Residential Certificate. 

v. Economically Weaker Sections Certificate (for EWSs) 

vi. Disability Certificate (for PWD). 

vii. Caste Certificate. 

viii. 3 (three copies) of recent passport size photograph self attested across front side of the photograph
