DEE Assam new Recruitment notification 2020 for LP & UP Teachers

The Director of  Elementary Education, Assam has published a recruitment notification for appointment of 3,941 (Three Thousand Nine Hundred Forty One) vacancies of Assistant Teacher of LP Schools and Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, Assamese Language Teacher and Manipuri Language Teacher of UP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam.

Therefore online applications are invited from the permanent residents of Assam qualified in Assam TET conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam for filling up of the following posts.

Total Post: 3941

1. Name of the post: Assistant Teacher for LP School

Essential Qualification & experiences: 

(a) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education) 

AND

(b) Passed in Assam TET for LPS, conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.

2. Name of the post: Assistant Teacher for UP School

Essential Qualification & experiences: Graduate from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education and passed in Assam TET for UPS conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.

3. Name of the post: Science Teacher for UP School

Essential Qualification & experiences: B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS (Science and Mathematics) conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.

4. Name of the post: Assamese language Teacher for UP School

Essential Qualification & experiences: Graduate from the UGC recognized University having Assamese as one of the subjects and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.

5. Name of the post: Manipuri language Teacher for UP School

Essential Qualification & experiences:Graduate from the UGC recognized University having Manipuri as one of the subjects and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam TET for UPS conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.

Age limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD). This relaxation shall be applicable only to those candidates who have attained the necessary educational or other qualifications prior to crossing of their existing upper age limit of 40 years. 

How to apply: The eligible candidates shall apply online in the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. www.dee.assam.gov.in from Midnight of 12.09.2020 to Midnight of 26.09.2020.
