Assam Employment Exchange Card Validity Extended till December, 2020




The Director of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Assam has published a notification for all concerned that the process of renewal of Employment Exchange Registration Certificate in the state of Assam is stopped temporarily until further order. The Employment Exchange Registration Certificate whose date of renewal fell in the months of February, 2020 and onwards will be treated as valid till December 2020. 

This step has been taken  as a preventive measure and with the primary objective of keeping the spread of pandemic COVID-19 in check in the state. 

The Employment Exchange Registration Card which were lapsed prior to February 2020, needs to re-register as per procedure in the concerned Employment Exchanges accordingly. 

The notification also mentioned that the other processes of Employment Exchange Registration activities will remain unchanged and shall continue as usual.
