NFR Railway Nursing Staff Recruitment 2020

Applications are invited from "Retired Para- Medical Staff in Gr. C upto age of 65 years or Paramedical Staff (Nursing Superintendent in Level-7)" on contractual basis for a period of 3 (three) months from the date of such engagement in MD/CH/MLG N. F. Railway, Guwahati-781011 and from the willing eligible Paramedical staff (Nursing Staff), which can be extended purely on administrative requirement and willingness of concerned Paramedical staff or till the scheme is available, whichever is earlier. 

Name of the Post: Nursing Staff

Total Post: 24 (UR-10, SC-4, ST-2, OBC-6, EWS-2)

Educational Qualification: Certificate as registered Nurse and Midwife having passed 03(Three)yrs course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or B.SC Nursing. Note: The Indian Nursing Council has also laid down certain special concessions for the above courses in respect of Auxiliary Nurse, Midwives and "B" Grade Nurses by way of reduced course period etc. candidates obtaining the qualification prescribed above, under these concessions will also be eligible for recruitments.

Age limit: 20 years to 38 years Upper age relaxation for SC/ST=5 Years and 3 yrs for OBC.  (For retired Railway employees, retired Government Medical employees of State Government and Central Government, age to be considered upto age of 65 years as on 01.04.2020.)

Remuneration: 

a. The engagement is purely a temporarily measure on Monthly remuneration basis as per Railway Board's letter No. 2017/Trans/01/Policy/Pt.I dtd.12.04.2018 for a period of three months for contractual Nursing Superintendent Level-7 is Rs.44,900/- + other allowances as admissible. 

b. For retired Railway employees, retiree Government Medical employees of State Government and Central Government, the monthly remuneration, as directed by Railway Board, is subject to the condition that the pension plus contractual remuneration of the retired staff should not exceed the last pay drawn at the time of retirement. No Dearness and any other allowances which are admissible to regular Railway Servants shall be admissible
