Cut off marks for admission:

• Candidates securing 45% (General category) and 40% (Reserved category) in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for admission.
• Candidates seeking admission into any Honours subject must secure 50% (General category) and 45% marks (Reserved category) in the subjects concerned in the +2 examination

Admission Fee: 

• BA: Nil (For students who are domiciled in the state of Assam)
• B.Sc.: Nil (For students who are domiciled in the state of Assam)

How to apply: Students seeking admission have to apply for admission through the College website www.hgcollege.edu.in . Students seeking admission into Bengali, Hindi and Sanskrit as Honours subject, must furnish 10th standard mark sheet, if they do not have these subjects in 10+2 level. The 10th standard mark sheet should be sent by email to cs.handique@gmail.com after submitting the online form.
