Online essay competition 2020 for students

DLSA Barpeta online essay competition for students 2020: DLSA, Barpeta invites students from class V to XII studying in various institutions of Barpeta District to participate in the online essay competition. The details are given below:

A. From Class V to Class VII Topic: "Flood Situation in Assam and its impact on agriculture and wildlife. Ways to tackle it." 

B. From Class VIII to Class X Topic: "Recent conflict between India and Nepal. Historical Perspective and ways ahead." 

C. From Class XI to Class XII Topic: "COVID-19 and its impact on Indian Economy. Suggest measures to boost the economic growth." 

General Instructions to the participants 

Word limit: Maximum 700 words. 

Language: Assamese or English 

Typed or hanwritten: Typed OR handwritten without any bar but it should be sent in PDF format. 

Who can participate: Students studying in various institutions of Barpeta District. 

How to send the essay: Only online submission of essays will be accepted. Essays should be sent to the official Email ID of District Legal Services Authority, Barpeta which is barpeta.dlsa@gmail.com 

Last date of submission: 07-08-2020 on or before 5 pm.

Prizes: Three (03) winners will be selected from each category. Each winner will be given prize and certificate from DLSA, Barpeta. 

Note:

1. A participant should clearly mentioned his/her name, Guardian’s Name, Contact Number, Class, Name and Address of his/her institution.

2. Participants must submit one entry. 

3. Participants must submit scanned recent size passport photograph. 

4. Participants should submit scanned copy of their School/ College ID Card, if available. 

5. The winning essays and photographs of winners will be displayed on the Facebook page & Notice board of District Legal Services Authority, Barpeta to encourage the winners.
