The District Agriculture Officer, Kokrajhar has published a notification for the information to all the farmers of the Kokrajhar district that 100% scrutiny of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) of Kokrajhar district is going on and all the ineligible beneficiaries whose names are being listed inadvertently for the PM-KISAN scheme should contact their respective Agriculture Extension Assistant (AEA) or Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) immediately and should get their names deleted from the beneficiary list.

List of ineligible Beneficiaries:

• Not related to agricultural or farming activities.
• One or more persons of a single kitchen of a farmer's family.
• Current or former government employee (whose monthly pension is more than Rs.10,000/- pm).
• All income tax payees.
• Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices

The notification has also asked to refund all the money that has been received so far from PM-KISAN scheme immediately in the below-mentioned account number. 

The notification also urged to deposit the receipt copy of the bank with seal and sign should be submitted to the Agriculture Development Officer or to the Agriculture Extension Assistant (AEA). 

The District Agriculture Officer, Kokrajhar also warned of legal action for not complying with the order.
