The Education Department of Assam has published a notification regarding the development of creative skills among the students of Class six to class ten by providing weekly assignments during the lockdown period.

The notification has made clear the respective assignment topics to be completed by the students class wise along with their timelines.

The students should start working on their assignments from the date of issue of notification and the last date of completing the assignment is 14-06-2020.

Five topics have been assigned to each class. 

It may also be mentioned that a total of 10,000 selected best entries or assignments will be awarded by the Government. So the students should seriously consider this assignment. 

How to write or complete the assignment?

  

1. Students should write on the particular topic assigned for the week at their own home.

2. As soon as the lockdown ends students should submit the assignments to the head of their respective school.

3. The teachers will check the students' assignments after the reopening of schools.

Eligibility: Only the students of class VI to class X can participate and they can write in any medium of instruction.

How will the selection of best assignments be made?

1. After the lockdown ends, every school will select any three best entries from each class and will submit to the respective CRCC.

2. The concerned CRCC with the support of two subject teachers of Higher Secondary level will select any three best entries from each class and will submit to the respective block.

3. The Block will select a total of 100 best entries covering both UP and Secondary level with the support of block resource persons engaged for academic purpose/ subject teachers of Higher Secondary level and will submit to the respective District.

4. Each district will select a total of 200 best entries covering both UP and Secondary level with the support of DIET/ Academic Council and will submit to the State.

5. The State will select a total of 10000 best entries and will award them.
