State Level Police Recruitment Board Assam has published an employment notification inviting applications in online mode from both male and female candidates for the recruitment of 35 nos of Platoon Commander under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards 

Name of the Post: Platoon Commander 

Total Post: 35

Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.

Other Mandatory Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate

Pay: Rs. 14000- 49000 +  Rs. 8700 GP plus other allowances as admissible under the rules

Age limit: 18-38 years as on 01-01-2020 {Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by: (i) 5 years for SC, ST (H) and ST (P), (ii) 3 years for OBC/MOBC}
