The Secondary Education Department, Government of Assam has taken the initiative of distributing free Textbooks for the eligible Class XII students to help them. Students can collect the textbooks from 26th May to 28th May, 2020 from their respective Schools or from selected locations by following COVID-19 protocols.

This was stated by the department in a notification published in the local dailies.
