The issuance of NRC rejection slip which was slated to start from 30th March, 2020 is currently put on hold due to the crisis that erupted after the outbreak of Covid-19 of Corona virus pandemic in the country.

According to sources, about four lakh people who have been left out of the final NRC list are slated to receive rejection slips along with the reasons for exclusion from NRC. 

It may be mentioned that the excluded people have been waiting eagerly for the rejection slips as without that they will not be able to move Foreigner's Tribunal to claim for their inclusion in the NRC.
