1. Visit e-Filing website of Income-tax department https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/

2. Click on the link 'Instant PAN through Aadhaar'.

3. Click on the link 'Get New PAN'.

4. Fill in your Aadhaar number in the space provided, enter CAPTCHA and confirm.

5. You will now receive an OTP on the registered Aadhaar mobile number; submit this OTP in the text box on the webpage.

6. After submission, an acknowledgement number will be generated (Save this acknowledgement number for future reference).

7. On successful completion, a message will be sent to your registered mobile number and e-mail id (if registered in UIDAI & authenticated by OTP). This message specifies the acknowledgement number.

• How to download the new PAN?

1. Visit e-Filing website of Income-tax department https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/

2. Click on the link 'Instant PAN through Aadhaar'.

3. Click on the link 'Check Status/ Download PAN'.

4. Fill in your Aadhaar number in the space provided, enter CAPTCHA and submit.

5. Submit the OTP received on the registered Aadhaar mobile number in the text box on the webpage.

6. Check the status whether the PAN has been allotted to you or not.

7. If the PAN is allotted to you, click on the download link to get a copy of the e-PAN pdf.

8. You may print and get it laminated.
