Press Information Bureau, Government of India, Zonal Office, Guwahati proposes to empanel Translators /Language Expert purely on contractual basis for translating and typing Hqrs. Press Releases, Features, Articles etc. from English to Assamese and vice versa for PIB Guwahati. In this context, applications are invited from eligible persons having five years of experience in the field of translation work especially in news agencies and government departments.

Mode of Appointment:  Contractual basis

Translation Language: From English to Assamese and vice versa

Terms and Conditions: The translators must have their own Laptop and Data Card (internet connectivity). The translators must be ready to work at short notice, even at odd hours. They should be able to respond in the shortest possible time. The translators should be able to type their own translated copy which is compulsory. The selection of translators will be made through interview. 

How to apply: Willing translators may submit their application on or before 30-01-2020. For further details applicants may visit office during office hours.
