Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Social Worker under the department of Pain & Palliative Care, to be funded by Jiv Daya Foundation, at 200 Bedded Cancer Hospital, Gauhati Medical College, Bhangagarh, Guwahati-781032 on contractual basis. The appointment will be initially for a period for 1 year which may be renewable subject to satisfactory performance. 

Name of the Post: Social Worker 

Total Post: 1 (one) 

Essential Qualifications: Three years of graduate degree in  Social work/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology with three years experience in the relevant community based service in Palliative Care. OR Master’s Degree in Social Work. 

Desirable (a). Preferably working in the field of Palliative Care. 

(b). Knowledge of computer applications. 

Age: Below 35 years. 

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 17000 /- pm
