IHM Guwhati LDC and Stenographer Recruitment 2019

The Principal/Secretary, IHM, Guwahati invites application for recruitment to the following posts

1. Name of the Post: Stenographer

Total Post: 1 (General) 

Scale of Pay: Pay Matrix 25,500-81,100, Level- 4

2. Name of the Post: Lower Division Clerk ( LDC )

Total Post: 2 (SC-1, PWD-1) (Locomotors Disability and certificate required from concerned authority)

Scale of Pay: Pay Matrix 19,900-63,200, Level- 2 

Educational Qualification for Stenographer: 

1. Graduation with minimum speed of 80 and 40 w.p.m. in English shorthand and Computer Typing respectively. 

2. Desirable: Experience in Administrative and Accounts matter. 

Educational Qualification for LDC: 

1. 10+2 or Higher Secondary School, Computer typing speed of 40 wpm. 

2. Desirable: Experience in Computer Application. 

Age Limit: For the post of stenographer not exceeding 30 years (As on 01.08.2019) and for the post of LDC not exceeding 28 years (As on 01.08.2019). Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of ST/SC candidates and as specified for other categories by Govt of India from time to time. 

How to apply: Interested person who fulfills the prescribed conditions may apply to the Principal, Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition Guwahati, VIP Road, Upper Hengerabari, Barbari, Guwahati-781036 on or before 26-08-2019 by 5 PM. Application form in the prescribed format is given on website www.ihmctanghy.org.in. Candidates need to send the filled up forms along with attested copies of certificate and recent passport size photographs. Application form along with requisite documents can be sent to the institute through e-mail on ihmctanghy@gmail.com also, on or before the due date. 

Selection Procedure: Selection to the above posts will be through a written test followed by shorthand/computer typing skill test.

Note: Person working in Govt./Semi Govt. /Autonomous/ PSU should submit their application through proper channel. Since this is an Autonomous organization hence normal allowances will be applicable to person with disabilities as per institutional norms and capacity.
