Bodoland University Guest Faculty for Botany and Physics Recruitment

Bodoland University invites eligible candidates to appear in a walk-in-interview for recruitment as temporary guest faculty on fixed pay for a period of six months which is likely to be extended based on satisfactory performance. The details are given below:

Name of the Post: Guest Faculty in Botany and Physics

Total Post: 3 (Botany-2, Physics-1)

Reservation: UR

Specialization: Botany- Open; Physics- High Energy Physics/ Theoretical Physics

Salary: Rs. 18,000/- pm (fixed)

Qualification and Experience (Either A or B):  

A

1. Master's degree with 55% marks in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from  an accredited foreign university.

2. Candidate must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or SLET/SET or having Ph.D degree in accordance with UGC Regulation, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

The Ph.D degree has been obtained from  a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the world University Ranking (at any time) by anyone of the following:

a) QS

b) Times Higher Education (THE)

c) Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai)

Age: Not more than 38 years as on 13-08-2019( Upper age relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST)

Date & Time of interview: 13-08-3019 at 12 noon
