COTTON UNIVERSITY PG ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2019-20: APPLY ONLINE FROM TODAY

Cotton University PG Admission Notification 2019-20

Online applications are invited from students having the requisite qualifications for admission to Postgraduate Programmes of Cotton University. The submission of applications shall be allowed through the University website www.cottonuniversity.ac.in from 23-06-2019 till 03-07-2019 but the last date of payment of application fee is 01-07-2019. Candidates should carefully read the Instructions and follow the procedure while filling up the online form.

SEATS UNDER THE NOMENCLATURES:

(I) COTTON GRADUATE: 50% of the total seats in each programme of study shall be reserved for the candidates graduating from Cotton University (with the relaxation of one year gap) under this Category.

(II) OPEN CATEGORY: The rest of 50% of total seats shall be open for all eligible candidates from any recognised University (including Cotton University subject to conditions) under this Category.

Programmes:

MA: Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology (AIHCA), Anthropology, Arabic, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Economics, Education, English, Hindi, History, Mass Communication & Journalism*, Persian, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, and Sociology.

MSc: Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science (AI)*, Environmental Biology and Wildlife Sciences (EBWS), Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBT), Physics, Statistics, and Zoology.

MCA (Master of Computer Applications)

*The MA programme in Mass Communication & Journalism and the MSc programme in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) shall run in Self-financing mode.

• Commencement of Online Application: 23-06-2019
• Closing Date of Payment of Application Fees: 01-07-2019
• Last Date of Submission of Online Application: 03-07-2019 (before 7 pm)
• Online updating of UG CGPA score by Cotton Graduates (last date): 12-07-2019
• Publication of Merit List of Cotton Graduates: 14-07-2019
• Admission of Cotton Graduates on the basis of CGPA (Core): 16-07-2019
• CPGEE 2019: 19-07-2019 to 22-07-2019
• Publication of CPGEE based Merit List: 31-07-2019
• Admission on the basis of CPGEE Score: 02-08-2019 to 03-08-2019
