Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, Deemed to be University, is a Centrally Funded Technical Institute under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India conducting Diploma, UG, PG & Ph.D Programmes. Applications are invited from the suitable Indian Nationals & eligible candidates various vacant posts of Non-Teaching on regular basis.

Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the minimum essential qualifications, furnished with clarity and supported with documents, as laid down in the advertisement

GROUP-A

1. Name of the Post: Deputy Registrar

Total Post: 2

Qualification: Essential: Masters degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.

Experience: i) At least 09 years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.6000/- or above with experience in educational administration. OR Comparable experience in research establishments and/ or other Institutions of higher education.

OR 05 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent post in the GP of Rs.5400/- and above. Desirable: i) A degree in Law/ Management/ Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

ii) Chartered or Cost Accountant qualification from a recognized University/ Institute for the post of Assistant Registrar (Accounts/ Audit).

Age: Not Exceeding 50 years

2. Name of the Post: Executive Engineer

Total Post: 1

Qualification: Essential: i) A Masters Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical/ Civil Engineering) from a recognized university/ Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree. ii) At least 05 years relevant experience at the level of Assistant Engineer/ Executive Engineer in the PB-3 and Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix of Rs.5400/- from CPWD/ PWD or similar organized services/ semi govt./ PSU/ Statutory or autonomous organization/ universities/ reputed institutes/ organizations under central/ state govt.

OR

 i) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the Engineering (Electrical/ Civil Engineering) from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.

ii) At least 7 years’ experience in relevant field at the level of Assistant Executive Engineer in PB-3 and Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix of Rs.5400/- from CPWD/ PWD or similar organized services/ semi govt./ PSU/ Statutory or autonomous organization/ universities/ reputed institutes/ organizations under central/ state govt.

iii) Experience in handling construction and construction management related software, like computer-aided Design (CAD) etc.

Desirable: i) Proven track record of handling projects/ works in reputed organization of relevant magnitude and qualities.

ii) Experience or working with High Tension lines, electrical maintenance, planning and execution of electrical works or civil engineering, designing and estimation, construction management etc. as relevant to the profession.

iii)Proficiency in the use of variety of computer office application, MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc. or equivalent.

Age: Not Exceeding 45 years

3. Name of the Post: Medical Officer

Total Post: 2

Qualification: Essential: M.D. or M.S. in an appropriate branch of Medicine. OR Postgraduate Diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine plus at least one year experience in a recognized hospital. OR M.B.B.S. including completion of compulsory rotatory internship by at least 03 years experience in a recognized hospital.

Desirable: i) The above qualifications Diploma/ MD/ MS preferably in medicine, chest diseases, paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology & family medicine.

ii) The work experience should be in a medical college or large Govt./ private Hospital.

Age: Not Exceeding 40 years

GROUP-B

1. Name of the Post: Section Officer

Total Post: 1

Qualification: Essential: i)Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 5 years’ administrative experience as Jr. Superintendent / Office Superintendent/PS or equivalent in the Grade Pay: Rs.4200/- in Central Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings or Master Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 02 years’ administrative experience or similar works in the Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix of Rs.4200/- or equivalent in Central Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings. Desirable: Proficiency in use of variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent.

Age: Not Exceeding 40 years

2. Name of the Post: Security Officer

Qualification: Essential: i) Bachelor degree from a recognized University / Institute with 5 years’ experience in supervising position in Army / Central Paramilitary Forces in Govt. organization / Educational / Private Organization. ii) Preferences will be given to the persons who have served in the Army / Central Paramilitary Forces or such arm forced services and possessing a valid Arms license. (OR) Holding analogous post

Desirable: i. Training and handling emergency situation like Fire Fighting, Rescue Operations, Floods or Earthquake etc. ii. Possessing a diploma certificate in security operations/fire safety and disaster management from a university/institute/reputed organization.

Age: Not Exceeding 40 years

3. Name of the Post: Office/Jr. Superintendent

Total Post: 3

Qualification: Essential: i) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 3 years’ experience as Senior Assistant or equivalent in the Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- or Master Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 02 years’ experience or in the Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- in Central Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings.

Desirable: Proficiency in use of variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent.

Age: Not Exceeding 35 years

4. Name of the Post: Accountant

Total Post: 2

Qualification: Essential: i)B.Com. or equivalent qualification from recognized university with 05 years’ experience as Junior Accountant or equivalent in the Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix of Rs.2800/- in Central Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings. OR M.Com. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university with 02 year experience as Junior Accountant or equivalent in the Grade Pay/ Pay Sector Matrix of Rs.2800/- in the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Undertakings.

ii) Knowledge of Accounting Software like Tally, Pay Roll Accounting, e-TDS. iii) Proficiency in typing in English/ Hindi on computer, and also in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-Point or equivalent is a must.

Desirable: i) Higher Degree/ P.G. Diploma in relevant discipline like HR, Labour Laws, and Financial Management etc. from recognized institute.

ii) ICWA/ CFA (Intermediate) or CA Intermediate.

Age: Not Exceeding 35 years

5. Name of the Post: Nurse

Qualification: Essential: i) Intermediate (10+2 with Science) or equivalent and must have passed the examination held by the Nursing Council with 3 years course in General Nursing and Mid-wifery with at least 55% marks from a recognized Board/ Institute.

ii) Registered as A-grade Nurse with Nursing Council.

iii) At least 03 years of relevant experience in a hospital.

Desirable: B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized University/ Institute with one year of relevant experience.

Age: Not Exceeding 35 years

6. Name of the Post: Jr. Technical Superintendent (Chemistry)

Qualification: Essential: A Master Degree in Engineering/ Science/ Computer Science or equivalent qualification in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with one year relevant experience.

OR A Bachelor Degree (four years) in Engineering or equivalent qualification in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with two year relevant experience. OR Three years Diploma in Engineering/ Applied Science or equivalent in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with three years relevant experience.

Desirable: Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent.

Age: Not Exceeding 35 years

GROUP-C

1. Name of the Post: Store Keeper

Total Post: 1

Qualification: Essential: Any graduate or equivalent from a recognized University with 3 years in the Sr. Assistant having Knowledge of Tendering Process & Evaluation/ Store & purchase/ in the Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix of Rs.2400.

Desirable: Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent.

Age: Not Exceeding 30 years

2. Name of the Post: Pharmacist

Total Post: 1

Qualification: Essential: i) Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55% marks plus 02 years of relevant experience. OR Three years Diploma (after 10+2) in Pharmacy from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55% marks plus 03 years of relevant experience.

ii) Should be registered as a ‘Pharmacist’ under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. Desirable: Proficiency in the use of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent is a must.

Age: Not Exceeding 30 years

3. Name of the Post: Lab Assistant

Total Post: 2

Qualification: Essential: A Bachelor Degree (four years) in Engineering (in CSE/IT/Electrical) or equivalent qualification in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with two year relevant experience. OR Three years Diploma in Engineering/Applied Science (in CSE/IT/Electrical) or equivalent in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with three years relevant experience.

Desirable: Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent.

Age: Not Exceeding 30 years

4. Name of the Post: Sr. Assistant

Total Post: 4

Qualification: Essential: i) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 07 years’ experience in regular service or equivalent, out of which, at least two years works experience in the Grade Pay/Pay Matrix of Rs.2000/- in Central Govt./State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings.

Desirable: i) Proficiency in use of variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent is a must.

ii) Having typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English and Hindi respectively on computer.

Age: Not Exceeding 30 years

5. Name of the Post: Jr. Assistant

Total Post: 5

Qualification: Essential: i) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university.

ii) Proficiency in use of variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent is a must.

iii) Having typing speed of 40/ 35 w.p.m. in English and Hindi respectively on computer.

Desirable: One year relevant experience

Age: Not Exceeding 27 years

How to Apply: Candidates have to apply in the prescribed form  and the duly completed Application Form along with the documents to be sent by speed/registered post (not by hand) to THE REGISTRAR, Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, Balagaon, BTAD 783370 (Assam).

Application Fee:  Rs. 500.00 for General & OBC Candidates and Rs. 150.00 for SC/ST (on submission of supporting Certificate) payable in the form of Bank Draft. (a) The Bank Draft shall be drawn in favour of “CIT Kokrajhar” payable at Kokrajhar. (b) Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) are fully exempted from payment of the prescribed fees upon submission of relevant Disability Certificate, issued by the Competent Authority.

Note: 

1. For SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates, the Application Form should be supported by the relevant certificate in a Govt. of India (GoI) prescribed format dully issued by the competent authority. For OBC candidates, OBC Status and Non-Creamy Layer Status in a prescribed format duly issued on or after 15th July, 2018, copy at Annexure–III, by the competent authority while Disability certificate by the Persons with Disability (PwDs) as per format prescribed by the Government of India..

2. Experience less than six months in any organization will not be considered in total experience.

3. Candidate already in service at Govt. / Semi Govt. / PSUs / Universities / Educational Institutions should submit their application through Proper Channel or should furnish a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of interview. Applicant, however, can send advance copy of Application Form. Such candidates are also required to produce ‘Integrity Certificate’ and ‘Vigilance Clearance Certificate’ at the time of interview, if not submitted earlier, copies at Annexure – II.

4. The candidate applying for more than one post, must make separate application for each post (along with required demand draft in original) and send them in separate covers super-scribing the post applied for.

5. The complete postal address (including Contact No. & Email address) of the present employer mentioning the name of the organization or Govt. / Semi Govt./ Autonomous / Public Sector Undertakings/Private Sector should be indicated in the Application form. 18. Certificate in support of experience shall be in proper format i.e. it shall bear the organization’s letter-head, bear the date of issue, specific period of work, name and designation of issuing authority along with signature and official seal.
