It is indeed a piece of great news for the unemployed youths of Assan that the State's Education Department will be conducting fresh Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) level this year to fill up the vacancies in the LP & UP Schools of Assam. This decision was taken in a  meeting of the Empowered Committee, Elementary TET  held on 20th March last.

It may be mentioned that the last TET was conducted in 2012 followed by a few special TETs.

Tentative dates of 2019 TET examination: 22-09-2019 or 29-09-2019

School: LP and UP level

Question papers  Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo and English
