The Registrar, CIT, Kokrajhar has notified that the Written test and interview for recruitment of temporary faculty on contract at the department of IT, CIT Kokrajhar will be held on 11-02-2019 at CIT, Kokrajhar at 10 AM.

Syllabus of written test (Short-answer / MCQ):

1. Computer Programming: Programming paradigms, Data types, Procedure call, Array, Pointer of C language and Object oriented concept. 

2. Algorithm and Data structures: Basic concept, asymptotic notation, Recurrence, Searching, Sorting, Linked list, Queue, Tree and Graph. 

3. Operating systems: Process management, Memory management, Scheduling, Process synchronization, Deadlocks. 

4. Formal languages and automata theory: Deterministic finite automata, Nondeterministic finite automata, Regular expressions, Grammars, Push down automata, Turing machines. 

5. Database management systems: Relational model, relational algebra, Functional dependency, Normalization. 

6. Computer networks: Layered network structures, LAN technology (bus/ tree, ring, star), Data communications (encoding, flow control, routing, error detection, error correction), TCP/IP. 

The list of the eligible candidates have also been published. Candidates may check their names prior to the written Test.
