AAU Recruitment of Supporting Staff

Applications from intending eligible candidates in prescribed Application Format are invited  for filling up the following posts under Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Assam Agricultural University.

1. Name of the Post: Supporting Staff

Total Posts: 12 (2 posts in each of the below mentioned KVKs)

Under the KVK: 

1. KVK, Kokrajhar, (Gossaigaon, BTAD-783360)

2. KVK, Chirang, (Kajalgaon, BTAD-783385)

3. KVK, Bongaigaon, (Abhayapuri-783384)

4. KVK, Baksa, (C/o: SDAO,Rangia, Kamrup-781354)

5. KVK, Dhubri, (Hakama, Bilasipara-783348)

6. KVK, Morigaon-782410

Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/- (Pre-revised)

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent examination pass

Application fee: Rs. 300/- for General candidates and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/PH candidates is to be deposited at Powerjyoti Account of the University lying with the State Bank of India, AAU, Jorhat Branch(A/c No. 33019714091). Fee paid challan copy may be enclosed along with the application form.

Terms and conditions:

1. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

2. Candidates already in Govt. service should apply through proper channel.

3. Age as on 01-01-2019, the minimum age of the candidate shall be 18 years and maximum age limit shall be 35 years. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates will be given as per government rules.

4. The selection and appointment process shall be governed as per the KVK/ICAR Rules.

5. The application must be accompanied by the following:

a. Self-attested copies of all certificates/mark sheets in support of educational qualification, age, caste, Permanent Residence etc.

b. Two copies of self attested recent passport size photographs.

c. Attested copy of Employment Registration Card, if any

d. Self-addressed envelope (size 23 cm X 10 cm) affixing postal stamp of Rs.6.00 (Rupees six) only.

e. Physically disabled candidate will produce certificate issued by competent authority.

f. Certificates of good character and conduct from two responsible persons known to the candidate (but not related to the candidate) and indicating the name and address of the referees at the para 19 of the application form.

6. The applications shall be submitted to the Head/Senior Scientist of the KVK of the concerned District under which the post is applied for.

7. The application without proper supporting documents shall summarily be rejected.

8. Reservation shall be as per Government of Assam Rule.

9. There may be a common written test for the posts under all 6 KVKs. The candidate should submit application for a post under 1(one) KVK only.

10. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending in the written test.

11. Canvassing directly or indirectly, influence in any form will be treated as disqualification of candidate.

12. Mere possessing the requisite qualifications will not make a candidate eligible for the written test as the case may be. The final decision to call for the written /selection test shall rest with the University authority.

13. Candidate may also collect application form and challan copy from the Head/Senior Scientist of the concerned KVK.
