Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar invites applications from eligible Indian nationals, possessing excellent academic records and committed to quality teaching and research for the faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor in the departments/subjects indicated below on purely contract basis for 1 (one) year which may be extendable for another period on satisfactory performance & activities.

1. Name of the Post: Assistant Professor

Department/Subject: Information Technology

Total Post: 02

Qualifications and Experience Requirement:

(A) Essential: i. ME/M. Tech Degree in the relevant discipline in First Class (5% Relaxation for SCs/STs) with consistently good academic record; preferably Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a reputed institution/university. ii. Age < 40 years on the last date of receiving application.

(B) Desirable: i. Evidence of participation in sponsored research, continuing education and/or industrial consultancy programmes; ii. Proven record of guiding UG/ PG students and team work; iii. Participation in professional society activities.

(C) Experience: i. Research/Industrial/Teaching experience in the relevant discipline for a minimum of 1 year; ii. Good publications record in referred scientific/ professional journals.

Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)

2. Name of the Post: Assistant Professor

Department/Subject: Multimedia Communication & Design

Total Post: 03

Qualifications and Experience Requirement:

(A)Essential: i. First Class (5% Relaxation for SCs/STs) in Master Degree in relevant discipline with specialization in Animation/Multimedia Communication & Design from any reputed/recognized Institute/University ii. Age < 40 years on the last date of receiving application.

(B) Desirable: i. Candidates are required to produce evidence of professional works done; ii. Participation in professional society activities.

(C) Experience: i. Preferably with 3 (three) years of experience and production knowledge.

Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)
