ARIAS Society Recruitment 2019 of Horticulture Coordinator

The ARIAS Society invites applications for the following contractual position under the World Bank financed Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project (APART). The selected candidates will be placed in the District (ATMAs) associated with the project. The minimum required qualifications & experience in brief, and the age and the indicative remuneration range for the positions are furnished below. Name of the Post: District Horticulture Coordinator 

Total Posts: 15

Qualification: Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from any recognized university/ Institution. Preference, however, will be given to candidates holding Post-Graduate diploma/ degree in Agriculture/Horticulture. Experience: DHC must possess at least four (4) years of professional experience in Horticulture related activities/ Agriculture extension or related activities in any public/private sector organization. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Agricultural Marketing, Agribusiness and Value Chain Development, specifically in the development of market linkages and working experience in the establishment of Agriculture & Horticulture based institutions and operations of marketing enterprises by farmer organizations, agri-entrepreneurs etc. Computer Skill: The DHC must have experience of using Internet-based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint and other related applications.

Salary: Rs. 4.80 Lakh to Rs 6.00 Lakh/Year

Age: For all the positions the age limit is 45 years as on 01-01-2019. However, in case of exceptionally talented candidate(s) having requisite qualification & having wide relevant experience, the age limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the SPD, ARIAS Society.
